i read a couple of tie-in novels with Ace in them! they were quite good.
i have to admit though, my absolute favorites are Ian and Barbara. this isn't the first time i've seen the first Doctor's run, so i guess i've got a little bias toward them, but still. xD the first Doctor cracks me up pretty much continually.
